So, now that he is gaining weight, eating normally (no more E-tube! They got rid of that during his hernia surgery) and doing well we can start talking seriously about the limbs.
We really are trying to figure out what do with the sheer expense of the surgeries for both limbs. We are thinking about doing one limb (the back one) so that he has free range of motion (easier mobility) first. The front leg we are going to have to splint until it either a.) heals naturally or b.) we save up enough money to get it done in the future. The good news is that the vet says we don't have to worry about breaking or resetting either limb if we choose to wait.
With a baby on the way we are looking at our finances more seriously & have a lot to consider. So that is where we are & what we are doing. Pumpkin has started to want to wander around the house. So we are slowly introducing him to C (our queen kitty). She is not happy about it, but she isn't beating him up. So for now all is peaceful. Here is a photo:
Pumpkin is on the ground. He is able to wander up and down the hallway. He loves to meow up a storm, and hide under the couches. :)
I love his green St. Patty's Bandages. He is indeed a lucky kitty!
